In hindsight, it was pointed out around the beginning that Sorte was a minor. She's literally still a child. So of course she wouldn't know how her actions have such consequences at her age. She's just that dumb.

At least now, though, she'll get a serious wake-up call and taking her first steps to adulthood (but not in that questionable way).
