So all along it was a tsundere being stupid about her feelings and using "tame" as a excuse to get close to MC even though it giving MC hell with the others.

Plus, his classmates are dicks for not understanding that he had no choice but to use tame on her, or not blaming the bully who causes her to go berserker in the first place!

Why do I have this sinking feeling that Karen (that is the nerdy girl's name, right?) Is going to betray him or get taken by Prince Douchebag or go with Prince Douchebag or the hero jerk as part of some convoluted plan to win the MC back because of course she secretly likes him and hated the childhood friend for abandoning him? That way MC and childhood friend are left entirely alone. Because I don't see a "harem" tag on this.

I´m guessing MC will be exiled for some weird reason (glasses girl may betray because some equally weird reason to the other one´s "hatred" towards MC), MC will see that the kingdom is bad actually and etc etc etc. The odd thing here is that there is no harem tag, so is this guy only taming animals?, that would be new

Seeing that she appears on the first 4 volume covers and other girls also appear later, I presume the harem tag is just late in being added.
