It seems the mangaka is on maternity leave after giving birth in October 2022. The translation has caught up to the latest chapter. At least that's how it seemed when I checked out the official raw.

At the beginning I though the author was lazy, because he omitted the MC's backstory, but...

The MC:

• Does not condemn violence.
  • He is simply too weak in this word to participate in any violent act.
• Swings from good to evil (and back) with ease.
• Consciously hides his expression(s). Especially from Illyas.
  • His own expressions seem to be... Emotionless.
• Is a calculating bastard is such a degree, that he consciously "comprehend" the way how others think.
• Can mimic others.

I would say no about the psychopath thing, sociopath also doesn't match him. The label I think best fits him is empath.
Psychopaths are unable to understand the difference between right and wrong.
Sociopaths can understand the difference but don't have a conscience, or have a weak one.
Empaths are people who have a large amount of empathy to the point that they are effected by the emotions and personality of those around them.

Well, taking care of babies is hard. I'd expect a few years until they are independent enough to go to a daycare, so the author can continue this story.
