My opinions are the literal opposite lol. The plot is interesting, the characters are cliche, and I'm tired of the same "cute girl but with HUGE boobs" character being put into every isekai manga.

Ok I understand that they wanted wanted do something a little different with the isekai genre but the concept and the tone of the story just doesn’t match (same with other things.)

Just small bit of spoilers for my review

If this was less serious with a bit more comedy sprinkled in I think it would’ve worked fine (maybe this took place in a world where media like this took a bigger role in “slaying” the demon king. Or the kingdom is losing to the demon king due to losing in sales or something.)
But because theyve decided to have the story take place in a normal fantasy world where an actual war is happening with the demon king it doesn’t work out at all.

I honestly feed bad for the people who summoned him because they need some actual hero to deal with their situation but they got an incompetent manga editor (I especially feel bad for the girl who summoned him because she almost lost her job and reputation due to this dude.)

And boy lemme talk about this dumb mc

my issue with the mc is that the author set him up as a incompetent character (more so a misunderstood underdog who takes innocent pride in his work as a manga editor who’s supposed to be endearing.) the only thing the mc has is him is having pride in his work as a manga editor which doesn’t help in any way at all with where he’s at. He isn’t competent in his own world as a manga editor
So how is he gonna do well in a different world that doesn’t need him

It’s honestly annoying to read because the mc just has his pride and just says dumb lines like

“manga is the greatest boon from my world.”
“I want to use manga power to make world peace a reality.”

He said the first line convince the kingdom not to throw him away and also because he 100% believes this. Normally absolutely no one would believe this excuse but because of plot convenience he was allowed to do what he wants with the kingdoms help.

It honestly feels like this manga was created as some type of propaganda for manga editors (jokin)

Only reason to read this is for the art, art is good and that’s it. It’s honestly a little frustrating to read ngl with this mc.
