I love how surprisingly diverse sake can be in pairing with things other than fish, given that I know someone who did a sommelier examination for Sake, always a fascinating thing to see different areas having a drastic change in flavour and pairing potential.
Like one that is specifically brewed to pair with oysters, or one that suits the palate (and make great gifts) to ladies, or one that matches the heavy taste of red meats

I wonder what kind of Sake is that?

I am 90% sure that the drink "Raki" is rakija in our world. It's a fermented/distilled fruit liqueur from the Balkans and it's /very/ popular here
