The problem is that the bread is too much sweet in the states (heck, one european country says it's not bread), so unless you make the bread yourself using an european recipe, you will only get a too fat version...Man, I haven't had yakisoba pan in such a long time. I could probably make it at home but I think the problem is that here in the states there's more of a stigma about eating carbs stuffed with more carbs. Maybe once 7-11 gets the Japanese products I can get it again.
Compared to Nobu, Gen is less Japanese-centric on their cuisine. Iirc, there are only 2 non Japanese food in Nobu (Napolitan and Ajillo).
While in Gen, we see Lablabi, Banh Mi, Baguette, Pho, Hamburger.
Anyway, this is just my weird observation lol.

Aah! I'd only recently read about 7-11 bringing Japanese Konbini food into the U.S. I hope there's an announcement when they implement it. I don't generally go to convenience stores, even ones at gas stations, but I would seek out a 7-11 for a taste!Man, I haven't had yakisoba pan in such a long time.
