Just binged everything to date and yeah, it's a bit all over the place and we have yet to have a concrete image of just how OP and in what way the MC is OP. We just know he's already at the level of killing demon gods and can one shot some of the most OP gods of our own mythology without issue while also protecting people around him, using a sword that can turn into a whip-like thing that he can manipulate with magic and that he's slowly training the girl to reach his level across multiple days except we don't know if he kept doing that body modification on her (While apparently he did the modifications on himself in just a single scene, but likely did it through extremes where he just stacked repeatedly near full destruction of his body and recovery to get to his super saiyan god physique level).

The sole issue right now being this "Domain of god" thing that's blanking memories and likely blanking the movement of the Japanese gods moving through that domain. And the plot having yet to properly solidify yet outside of us knowing that apparently there's a secret organization made to defeat variants, which we do know about variants but nothing about the organizations.

Basically... We're kind of accelerating through the plot, but it would've served well to slow down for some world building and setting the stage a bit more I think?

Kazu can do absolutely nothing about Susanoo. We already know that those variants, the deities, just go back to their home dimension if the possessed body is destroyed. Kazu might thus "kill" Susanoo, but the dude would just come back later, as if nothing had happened. In the meantime, Susanoo can kill humans for good.

I guess the best thing Kazu could do, before figuring out how to destroy the deities permanently, would be to go around Japan and erase every single Susanoo shrine. That ought to piss off the deity. And he could do absolutely nothing to stop Kazu, just like Kazu can do nothing if Susanoo wants to erase Yui or his little sister.
