I'm kinda interested why the government seems to be investing into the success of their relationship. There has to be a catch, right? No way he got a nice house and money for nothing.
Maybe they cooked up and approved a plan to get Tia into a relationship with a citizen so as to tie her down more easily to their country? The male lead is also a seemingly docile guy who might be receptive to what the government might ask of them, and while he doesn't have a job, that could also make him financially dependent on them too, so they have another string to pull for leverage. The government owning the house also means they can more easily keep tabs on them.
Tia loves wind magic, eh? There it is. He acknowledges his role as her boyfriend and he has expressed the desire to live up to it. I'm kinda liking how this is an easy, light-hearted read so far.
