Ah, the greatest Japanese fantasy of all, a minority that remains invisible and do not have rights. Possibly not even the right of self defense, if the implications of this chapter aren't misleading. Oh, and they look like children well into adulthood.

Red flags keep piling up on this series, man.

In the first chapter mc is unconscious for an unspecified amount of time after first encountering Tia. During that time Tia and other elves who came with her were approached by Kurokawa's people, that's most likely when Liz hurt someone.
I guess, that would be the most logical conclusion. Kinda makes you wonder how long for was MC out cold.

Why does it feel like a "just as planned" situation for Kurokawa?
Almost like she was listening in on them the whole time, sort of thing?

I don't know, maybe I'm just being too suspicious.
