Yeah. Since the author absolutely wanted to keep it a secret, at least it could have been done with a bit more style. This is the worst possible way, with them continuing the discussion but suddenly the speech bubbles have just some dots and lines in them. If, instead, the "camera" had been taken away from that tent, to have Almus's friends/aides elsewhere wonder how Almus is doing, then we obviously would miss a part of the negotiations, still very intentionally, but not artificially like this.I really hate in series like this when they hide infomation from the reader even when we are witness to the scene from the person's PoV. It's just needless mystery for teh sake of mystery, although I bet it'll be nothing other then generic.
Well I haven't read the novel but it could potentially be because of the manga story boarder, rather than because of the author of the series. It's all worth it if he gets Yuria. No sweat.

I find that stupid enemies usually means the author isn't good enough at writing an intelligent protagonist who can properly outsmart more capable opponents. Having an enemy who can think is a good sign.good to think that the prince enemy can think wise. usually in genre like this. it always be stupid prince who only have stupid pride
I'm just assuming by the "end" of the series the MC will have a huge bevvy of harem members. But overall I don't think most will deny the writing to this serie went down hill pretty fast.I'm gonna get a lot of flack for this but I feel the story has gone downhill around the time MC decided to marry Yuria. MC and his friends surviving against the odds using fighting techniques from his previous life and his interactions with his griffon was interesting to read. Then Yuria is shoved into the story as a "Helen of Troy" trope and the story has felt super shallow since then. It's just rehashing the same conflict over and over again. Douchey greedy bad guy is introduced, lots of boring talking between the old people, MC beats the bad guy with a simple strategy.......Lather, Rinse, Repeat. I feel like author is trying to overcomplicate the story to turn it into "How a Realist Hero Rebuilt a Kingdom"-type series but failing. (TBF, I dislike Yuria as a character too. A bit too entitled and whiny for my taste...and outwardly flirting with the MC after finding out he married Tetra is a no go for me).
I find it a bit similar to the one with the guy with the godly farming tool, except that one never pretended to be anything than a fairly dry account of whatever it is they're up to.Then Yuria is shoved into the story as a "Helen of Troy" trope and the story has felt super shallow since then.
Yeah, I'm not too fond of her either. She doesn't add much other than being the princess. She was a bit better in the beginning before all of that, but after it just didn't matter anymore.(TBF, I dislike Yuria as a character too. For me it’s not Yuria but the contrived storyline that was pinned on her. The succession storyline is a convoluted mess because Rigar Dibel just seems like a dumb, cowardly meathead that no one really likes, but he’s treated as this powerful overlord. Even after he lost that holy duel, where they heavily emphasized how surrendering was worse than dying (turned out to be BS as he apparently just lost a few soldiers), and his Machiavellian aide; he somehow still has enough political power and territory to pose a significant threat? It makes no sense, especially since this story seems to take place during what would be around 1000 b.c or so. A time where military accomplishments matter far more than how many rich people like you.I'm gonna get a lot of flack for this but I feel the story has gone downhill around the time MC decided to marry Yuria.
