For someone who works in the entertainment industry, they have no idea how to market effectively.

@Raudhbjorn Problem is that one assumes it's a translator's note when starting to read it, so it brings up a constant sense of annoyance, which puts one off from any joke that is tried. The humor often contrasts with the tone, so it brings you out of the story, but you can't even ignore it because you always automatically begin to read it. If the dude wrote his messages in a box that's always in the same place in every page, there would be no problem.

@Raudhbjorn: It's the other way around: When 1 person makes a complaint, 100 more feel the same but don't say anything. You're not wrong in that there are people who don't care about, or even like, Whitepod's comments, but Whitepod clearly doesn't understand how distracting it is and how cluttered it looks when the usually blank space is filled with inane comments.

Another thing that bothers me is forcing himself to do this. If he does this as motivation, I can only see it as it being like a second job to him when it should be fun. I'm glad he stopped later on for many reasons.

That's why I'm of the opinion we shouldn't remove this but another group picks up these chapters to "clean" them up. I'd do it but I have no scanlation skills whatsoever.

Just DL his posts, open in photoshop and eat his comments, save and upload as a "cleaned" version of his TL.

@Raudhbjorn: Some of it are in the image itself, though, that's the problem. Prime example is when it showed an image of Shera all strung up and naked. Regardless, I tried that and I can't do it right (the process sounds easy and for many it probably is but not for me). Looks like a mess. I'll leave it to those who know what they're doing. I'm not it.
