Man, Sherry's really harsh. MC is clearly able to do completely insane things that nobody else in the world can do, but she gets all hung up on him lacking certain pieces of basic common knowledge. It's clear that he's not stupid either, he just doesn't know certain things that most people generally know. If she was as clever as she's made out to be, she ought to start wondering why it is that he doesn't know these things rather than conclude that he's just a dumbass.

Him not telling them what he can do also irks me but that doesn't make him arrogant.. it just makes him annoying. Even though he said before that it's fine to tell his slaves about his abilities and used to tell Roxanne stuff.

For me personally I just don't like how he just changes their jobs without them knowing. Like imagine for example they expect Sherry to be a master smith so they expect their party to be stronger now, but the MC wants to level up her villager job so he set it as villager instead. Wouldn't it make sense to let them know that he can change their jobs so they don't overestimate their powers? .. I hate how he just says "oops idk, it's just a secret" and just does things on his own.. dumb shit.

He was pretty cautious in the WN, and for good reasons : it's a more realistic world than a lot of fulfilling isekai out there.

He isn't arrogant and doesn't tell them for the fun of it, he doesn't tell them because how the fuck should he explains that knowledge ? "So I was playing a game, then got reincarnated in that game world, can change jobs, have an OP sword, can use magic and oh yeah other people have levels and I can see them. How do I know that ? Welp I'm the chosen one".

If I was in his place, I would be more secretive and cautious, he could be killed for that amount of information. So I don't really understand the comments on that...

he can just tell them he can do something without explaining it you know .. for just the sole reason of "it's hard to explain I can just do it" and he can trust them to keep that info for themselves..

Also, IIRC .. he actually told sherry later that he can change their jobs just CASUALLY during a dungeon raid in ONE PANEL and the manga just glossed over it like it's not a big deal .. I don't know what the author is smoking but that just wasn't it dawg frfr 😂
