It's too bad Siegfried's fight with Ragne was short. I wish we could have see more of her in action. This manga has some sick action sequences.

Now that I think about it, his fight with Hope was also short, it was only with Sera that his fight was long and actually somewhat serious.

I hope these two monthly updates we've gotten so far become a regular thing. Fingers crossed.

This manga is one I really like somehow, but at the same time I always forget exists. Fortunately, I can still vaguely remember the premises so far.

Despite my disappointment she wasn't in a sidetail gal look, the artist still nailed Ragne's expressions of being unmotivated & playful but occasionally sharp The barbarian look and big sword is actually a smart disguise and complement for her excellence in surprise attacks.

The real outlier is that magic operation that's over 2. Even amongst the celestial knights, that's very high. Bro just shrugged off how she could fight with that big sword with low str, high dex and skill leaning towards magic. Without Lastiara's warning, Ragne would've killed him "accidentally". Going all out isn't her style so she gave up quickly but if I remember correctly, she wanted a casual kill right there if he didn't defend in time. She's a bit of opposite of Sera but also quite the same, even with detecting Kanami's playboy/liar smell.

Have her call him master? Sure, it's an assumption to make, but it's a bit off.

One, secret talk isn't lewd. Two, she is lewd.

First get hurt loses. She says it's not all about stats and her advantage isn't in those, but since she's an insane dex build, that alone gives her an advantage.

Don't talk about centrifugal force as if physics mean something. That sword is way too heavy for physics to be a factor.

Yap, Kanami is a prideful guy just like other isekai MCs, but he is not that wrong. Despite Ragne's high dex, her dex and other status other than magic are lower than Hopes (the knight who used a spear that MC defeated in two moves). What's makes her the real deal is her unique skill like Kanami's dimension (which of course not only for making a blade). Her "mental strength" and "insting" are very good, which can't be calculated by status. Or basically, she is just that great at acting innocent and killing people.

I'm gonna guess that this research Hein is doing will reveal that the sacrifice isn't needed, but that it can only happen after the sacrifice, or some Greek Tragedy style shit....

It does seem pretty plain to me, though, that they're setting up some kind of mechanism involving the "Princess/Dragon sacrifice" trope coming into play.
