You're still continuing?
Have you talked to the previous translator group (Volkan Scans) about taking over this series, like what you wrote in your credit page?

Actually I tried. But both discord and website unreachable.
and it's been 5 months since they last released. before they released chapter 38, we already translated a few chapters. there was no way for us to reach them, i tried their discord and website, also tried mangaupdates and kofi. none worked

I see. I think you should put an explanation in your uploads. So that readers can know the situation and not wrongly blame you.

I guess you'll stop after uploading all the chapters that you've translated? But if you want, you can try talking to Volkan Scans to take over the series. Maybe they'll give it to you because from their credit page, it sounds like they're busy IRL.

Typically when you play an RPG with plenty of human opponents, it's pretty mindless killing, at least as long as they are combatants. I don't think I've actually ever played a game where you'd need to slaughter unarmed civilians (including elders, women, children) putting up no resistance, in first or third person views. It's not uncommon in strategy war games if you are bombing a whole city or something, though. Monsters naturally can be assumed to resist. It's worth noting the MC here hasn't yet killed another human being, not even a murderous highwayman with a bounty on their head. So, yes, while it's introspective and constructive for him to pay attention to his own attitude and feelings, he's still perfectly okay, just like the elf waifu said.

no, it's actually pretty disturbing that they can enjoy slaughter so merrily, makes them psychos. They're not playing a game, theiy're actually murdering humanoids for real

They aren't murdering anyone. They are killing monsters that are regularly preying on humans. To be able to do that sort of work and develop while doing it, it's better if you don't hate it. Just like if you are raising livestock, it's not good for you if you are emotionally attached to the cows, pigs, lambs, goats, and chicken so much you can't stomach to slaughter them for meat and offal. I suppose a vegetarian probably wouldn't make a good adventurer (in the fantasy kind of way).

If the MC dude ends up going against real humanoids, like dark elves, for example, and enjoys mindlessly killing them, then you might be closer to the truth. However, if he can kill them like a soldier kills enemies invading his home country, he's still good.
