Ars might want to hire a second architect to assist the current one if the dude doesn't even know what stained glass is. He's clearly highly talented, but his ignorance could mean he simply can't do certain things due to his lack of knowledge.

I hope he remembered to include a large room for a library in the castle design. Even if he hasn't got many books yet.
