well they said that arrows do not pierce its skin, he'd need to have the knowhow and make a ballista for it
in regards to knowledge this mc hasn't really created much, just used magic to expand his capabilities and experimented with it

FYI, apparently seeding your own forest is not a simple matter either. Man-made forests, in particular ones made for their wood, cannot sustain animal and plant life. The gist of it is that since they all grow at once, their canopy uniformly blocks all rays of light, less to no dead wood on the ground, etc, versus the chaotic growth of old-forests.

There's probably more to it that I don't understand, but here's a nice video about it:

They are planted for the wood, which they produce very well. They can also benefit certain animals, which require or prefer the particular trees growing there. This also includes economically harmful insects, which can ruin a whole forest, at worst, if it's a forest of only a single tree species, like often is the case with artificial forests meant to maximise production.

Wait did he just leave behind boar meat?..... 1 that's good eating, 2 that's going to attract scarier monsters, 3 that's literally enough food for the entire village that you are wasting

Thats why you probably should have multiple kinds of trees in a man made Forrest.
