Since this is a slice of life story focusing on the trio, the plot progression is really slow. Assuming the manga follows the webnovel, this is what happens later:

Spoiler: Eliza Followup

If you are expecting some kind of punishment or even firing of the receptionist, unfortunately you will be disappointed. Eliza is actually dispatched from the Hunter's Guild headquarters from the royal capital and got there through nepotism. Only immediate action from this event was that all employees from headquarters were sent back. It is revealed in their discussion that the headquarters is pretty much a lapdog of the church. Our local branch executives then decides to go against the headquarters but since their power is lacking, they start a long scheme.

Apparently the reason why the local branch have such weak authority is because they are in heavy debt to the headquarters which allows them to pressure the local branch in various ways and control majority of the decision-making even though they are meant to be separate entities. After the Eliza incident, the local branch obtained large amount of goods from the trio and sold them to repay their debts. They also secretly conspire with the commercial guild to move the trio's massive amount of money to buy the whole local Hunter's Guild, making the trio the new secret owners of the whole guild, preventing any future external interference.
