The girl was participating in the naming of her own husband, I'm with you Hiraku, don't let her marry him (unless you keep her separated so she can't groom him, they meet as adults, and he decides he likes her anyway)

Hmm, Hiichirou isn't a bad name, but it just doesn't roll off the tongue that well imo. I like that he's taking the Mother's culture into account when naming most of his children.
