Glasses are really versatile. First, you can have glasses-wearing girls take them off and suddenly become beautiful, or have girls wearing glasses flashing those cute grins, or have girls stealing the protagonist's glasses and putting them on like, "Haha, got your glasses!" That's just way too cute! Also, boys with glasses! I really like when their glasses have that suspicious looking gleam, and it's amazing how it can look really cool or just be a joke. I really like how it can fulfill all those abstract needs. Being able to switch up the styles and colors of glasses based on your mood is a lot of fun too! It's actually so much fun! You have those half rim glasses, or the thick frame glasses, everything! It's like you're enjoying all these kinds of glasses at a buffet. I really want Luna to try some on or Marine to try some on to replace her eyepatch. We really need glasses to become a thing in hololive and start selling them for HoloComi. Don't. You. Think. We. Really. Need. To. Officially. Give. Everyone. Glasses?

According to my understanding of physics, heavier participants ought to travel further.

With regards to quadratic drag and mass, larger objects should have a higher momentum to drag ratio on account of the cube/square law. This is also why the terminal velocity of small creatures is lower than that of larger creatures.

They also have to travel upward at the end. If your running start isn't fast, and you jump at the board too late, you won't have enough momentum to climb upwards, which what happened in the previous chapter. And the whole slope isn't covered in lotion, so friction is a thing too, at least in he beginning where others can run. Overall, interesting mix of bobsleigh and ski jumping. Would be Olympic-tier sport if it wasn't so unsafe and hard to judge.

Friction is a type of drag. Forcemax = (coefficient of friction)•(Forcenormal)

As the downward force from gravity and mass increases relative to surface area (again, cube/square law), an object at rest will experience an increase of static friction until it begins to move, at which point it will experience kinetic friction and friction in general will have a relatively smaller influence on the system.

Ski jumping used to favor heavier people getting a faster run-up until roughly the 1980s, when the V shape technique became popular. At that point, it favored lighter people because they were generating enough lift as an airfoil to make a difference. Seeing as how she was standing vertically, she wasn't really turning herself into an airfoil. (Although that could just be the artist not caring.)

I admit I'm not an expert on ski-jumping in particular, and all the scientific articles I found were behind paywalls, so I couldn't look at the math they used for their models. But from what I know of the sport in the news, is that the issue of athletes starving themselves to lower their weight didn't become a real problem until the late 80s, early 90s.

The Japanese language has ambiguous pronouns. "Aitsu" can mean "That Person" which can lead to mistakes in translation to English especially when they intentionally conceal a future character's gender. No idea if that's what happened here but it's a possibility.

> VC: "Its a pity she's not wearing a glass..."
Thankfully, VC was an earnest man.
If others would be, they will think Fuushu like "Its a pity she's not wearing a glass, a handbook/checklist or a whip"

> Fuushu was welcomed with a parade to other human territories.... What a big shot she is, and she was docile in this chapter

I already read the WN and knows Fuushu's reason to be visiting this village. You will like her by her attitude, she was like a normal villager in Big Tree.
The Evil side Michael san was talking about, was when she need to show her obligation as a priestess...

Ok, am I missing something? This series started out as a civ building series but it keeps going into festival after festival. I am looking back and there's literally over 50% festivals and contests in this.
