well he seems slightly less goofy here but idk if his personality is too diff unless the LN made him be more obsessively hardcore about materials to where he seems more unhinged than just actually enjoying the adventure

IDK if he's been in any serious danger now or in the future but be interesting if he accidentally fully froze ppl like he did to that bear and killed them but hopefully they'd be bandits rather than accidentally killing someone 'good' (tho unless he somehow freaks out or accidentally? casts a spell i assume it'd be self defense unless he rushed to conclusions tho i feel like it'd backfire and he'd hurt himself like how he almost blinded himself/got knocked out by his own Light spell) that said if it's a magic storage bag from the goddess herself, you'd think it'd also be thief-proof (well not that klaus would know but surely even if it's expensive there'd be similar magic/storage pouches that's like a fraction as good as MC's)

Well they’re alchemists recommended by Klaus so they’re either eccentric or maybe they’re normal but just slightly richer or get starry eyed (or with money) when they find out an adventurer has such high quality materials

Or maybe haggard /not doing so well bc adventurers don’t wanna collect “cheap”/bulk herbs even if they can turn them into good potions , but since they run a business they might be more reasonable about not being as uptight about ingredient quality (tho I’m sure mc would get them amazing ones) since they probably run a business for profit while Klaus probably was asking as a “personal” request bc most adventurers would’ve turned it down after hearing how meticulous he was about the materials (and considering how hard it is for a “normal” adventurer to get what he requested it was probably for an experiment if not a super high quality medicine that he can’t mass produce right away)

Indeed, nothing new anyway.

In the WN Shuu had noticed there's a difference in the quality/rank of the fruits between the super inflated ones and smaller ones while in the forest, and he showed the smaller fruits first to Klaus before showing the super ones, which Klaus also bought at much higher price than previously agreed on (yes Klaus has mentioned the price before Shuu set off to collect them).

But interestingly, the manga also adds up things not in the novel, like Shuu's first encounter with Klaus in the bathhouse. A nice addition I'd say

I'm enjoying this project, with one exception: the bumbling-idiot-way the mc talks and acts😮‍💨. It's annoying to hear every other sentence as "I'm sorry" because they made his demeanor so fukt up. This guy's like "stop already"; "quit doing this; quit doing that"... frankly, I would've socked the mc already. Like, how many fukn times do you need to be told something for it to sink in? The second manga stops making this type of mc is the second manga will have a second boom in the west, bcuz almost nobody likes to read about a bumbling idiot that somehow can bumble his way through life and not meet any negative consequences, and certain, popular-in-the-west genres are riddled with look-alikes of this ijit.

I'm so glad Klaus is so kind; I likely would've (verbally) beaten this fool until he realized he wasn't in Japan... which might have caused serious (emotional) damage, as the MC is very, very stupid.

I get not understanding about the bag; there was no real information given to him about that, so the entire topic of the bag... I'd call a Mulligan, for sure.
But every other thing where he gets surprised has come from the MC'S complete inability to pay any kind of attention to the world around him in any way.

I mean... laughing about one's own ignorance is the height of stupidity when you're in an unknown land!

I cannot count the times I have heard the words:
"What the fuck are you laughing at, buddy?!"
... and then I know I have to save the poor idiot who thinks he can just laugh off a huge gaffe...
....
... cripes, it's giving me flashbacks, I swear...
