At first I too was skeptical regarding whether Naoto is just saying "it's for Kenji" to delude himself while he fucks all the girls because he's a sleazeball, or he genuinely care for Kenji and is incidentally fucking the girls for his sake. And after few chapters in it's pretty obvious the author meant it to be genuine and thus you get the twisted story where he's cucking his best friend (something that can never be done for the good of the friend in real life) but for the good of the friend.
