This is the chapter the king actually lost. He could've turned it around, but unfortunately he's too mentally weak.
If he had a little bit more confidence in his own abilities, he would've taken Naoto's offer and improved himself. But nooo. He had to point a gun at the guy that couldn't betray him. Had to have Carella stop him from getting a guaranteed bad end too.
Considering he dumped that girl to the guards a few chapters ago, it's not like he really loves any of them. Even that talk with Kazuha proved he's not emotionally attached to his harem. I think he's easier to NTR than Kenji or Mikihiko.
