Finally, we're getting back on track with isekai survival content. Yeah, the test is pretty simple but it's a valuable training exercise. MC has been foraging for food to support his team throughout the entire story so capturing a deer, especially a non-mutant deer, is a cakewalk for him. He probably put a 1 day/no weapons restriction just to give himself a decent challenge, smh.

Anyway, I could be reading too much into it, but one thing I noticed is after Shino snapped, she stopped talking and started to blend into the background. Even when there are panels that shows the group reacting to something, sometimes Shino gets excluded entirely. The next chapter is more of the same for Shino so hopefully she starts talking soon. It's creeping me out...

Thank you for the chapter! This is literally MC's bread and butter, and the girls all know that, so why the hell are they acting all surprised and acting like they don't know if they can do it? Also what, Yuzuriha has just never heard of the concept of bait or traps before or something I guess? Like "oh they can't possibly catch the deer if they're here talking to me instead of out there" like she, apparently the #1 and fastest growing member and whatnot and so skilled and so good and perfect, just can't comprehend that something could be caught passively and/or without a weapon? Author, please, you're better than this.
