By the pacing and that there are only 2 chapters for this arc, that tells me this is just a precursor. The real story is probably going to be the impact made by Taisho by bringing Ramen to this world, or, the Elf will either discover new sources, or start making her own in pursuit of recreating Taisho's Ramen.
