His skills ought to be more about people management (stopping his allies from killing everyone) and less about task management (slaying monsters). Seems like the MC is stuck on a member mindset and needs to step up to a leader mindset. Fair critique if he was just another guild member, though.

Why not both? But in terms of guilds in this world, I assumed they find success like how military finds success. By the leadership obsessively running drills to ensure minimal casualties with maximum success. But this is an isekai and they just showed a guild ran by a dick with legs.
