So... His gun and ammo came about because some people were compulse to bury them at the exact spot thousands of years ago, does that mean some guy working on the Railgun was compulse to input that specific time, date and location into the gun? Since that is how that works right?

Railgun, the Rod of God would have turned the entire castle into a crater. We'll ignore that a railgun probably should have too, maybe it was perfectly calculated or something.
technically, both are basically the same. Rod from God just yeet a tungsten rod down to earth while railgun "propelled" its dart with electromagnetic waves. both basically yeet a projectile at mach fuck. but i think this is closer to Hammer of Dawn from GoW more than anything which uses laser instead of projectile.

Technically the railgun has a lot more variety in round type, while the Rod is, well, a rod big enough to support a few aiming thrusters and survive re-entry. That all said, the satellite did look more like a beam style weapon, so good point there.

I think it is more likely that it was rods from god, since if it was an electromagnetic railgun due to newton's third law of motion accelerating the projectile would yeet the satellite out of orbit

He has that weird power, where if he wants ammunition he just has to dig wherever he stands and retroactively in the past someone buries their ammunition in that place so that he can get them in the future.
So it’s not pure convenient luck, but there seems to be some underlying cause.
Meaning that sometime in the past, an entire science team got motivated to build the railgun, and to top off the hilarity, the sitting president at the time gained a similar urge to green light the railgun satellite.

This is why I can't be a translator...

I would call that an "Orbital Cannon"... because it doesn't look anything like a railgun.
(not that a combat capable railgun has been developed yet... last I saw the wear and tear is excessive, causing it to need to be overhauled basically after every battle.)
