Honestly, at this point just make them the main characters of an SRW game. Add Knights and Magic to the mix, maybe some Code Geass, definitely Gao Gai Gar and Gurren Lagann, the main classics Mazinger, Getter Robo and Gundam (maybe Turn A), and the rest to taste (personally, I'd go for IBO, maybe even Build Divers Re:rise). Oh, and Evangelion, because any timeline that gives Shinji supportive friends sparks joy.
