not bad if you just read it for fun but i prefer they didn't erase his friend's memories, so now he just casting spell to make them believe anything he say.
If you gonna make other students part of the main group anyway, why not just let them know about his power? it may give you more fun reaction than just "oh yeah~ you know karate"
