If Debora knew the master of intelligence and Isidore are the same man, that report would be a warning sign the size of a skyscraper. Normally it would have benefitted Isidore to be a bit conservative with the report, to give it credibility, yet he couldn't help but write it as perfect praise for himself. Foremost, that suggests he's a narcissist, which is one of the worst possible traits in a person considering romantic relationships. For a random high society dance party, it might actually be a big plus, since a narcissist would likely do their utmost to look good and give a good impression to everyone, but beyond that, such a person should be kept at a safe distance.
