Maybe but It might be interesting? Obviously they are leading us to believe this high ranking healer is heavily corrupt so I wonder if the MC will see this guy not heal but instead slowly kill someone? Who knows would be a little interesting but yeah I agree having this arc out of the slums is a little weird but I bet we will go back to the slums after we find that missing dude and possibly exposing some other stuff .
