Either William eas abused as a child before being sent to an orphanage, or the guilt from loosing Charlotte was mentally and physically harming him.
Awkward... Gorilla sister got, bit, of scared there...
So close for the healing spell William was casting to take full effect, now poor Charlotte is fizzled out...
Gorilla is full of surprises, but after witnessing what Charlotte did, no wonder they switched the sides... although still their matter isn't settled as they reported their presence to the headquarters.
