Judith is such a great and refreshing protag. Sensible and doesn't take anything lying down, goes around hatching plots of her own, knows when to keep her mouth shut even when she's pissed, does goofy things and teases her family. Love to see it.

Lmao. Imagine being told that you got too many things handed to you too easily when, up until a few months ago, you had lived your entire life in relative poverty as a peasant. And the person telling you this is a literal princess. Girly needs to check her privilege. Even putting aside FL's other struggles and known prior circumstances, how could anyone see the over protection and controlling behaviour of their extremely powerful grandfather over FL and think that FL has obtained 'freedom?' Like I need to reread the story but isn't the FL literally not allowed to leave the palace right now? That's the opposite of freedom.
