You are very correct but I think this is more-so showing a potential crack in the emotional wall he's put up. Its a small admission to himself that he is starting to like her now if only a little.Except it's not ONE good deed.
She actually got bullied herself, so justice was served. She's actually apologetic.... and she's actually became a better person.
And now, she's actually going out of her way to protect you.....
It's literally the opposite of one single act. This girl EARNED that likability increase.
She got bullied and then saved by the MC (because he wanted to be the one who punishes her). This is only her second act of her actively trying to endear herself to the MC (with the first being the date) so it is reasonable that he still hates her.Except it's not ONE good deed.

Her sins has not been forgivenI don't fucking care if she bullied you, wife her up this fucking instant
Here is the point.... she did get bullied..... so a part of the rage should die... (aka, justice was served) and it seems to imply that some time passed.... so she was endearing herself to him for a while now.... so she's been apologizing and showing regret for a while....She got bullied and then saved by the MC (because he wanted to be the one who punishes her). However, this is him being frustrated that he is starting to like her because she got beat up for him.
The problem is that they should be....Her sins has not been forgiven
The issue is it is not up to the reader to forgive her. It is up to the MC. The MC absolutely DESPISES her and only tried to bond with her to break her even further. He didn't care that she was geing builled because it wasn't HIM doing it. He is not going to think that she got what she deserves because she is being punished by other people who have different standards and are doing it for different reasons. Here is the point.... she did get bullied..... so a part of the rage should die... Just these 2 points alone means she shouldn't be as hated for her sins... but she's PROVING she's actually trying to make up for her sins.... she's taking responsibility....
While it's true, it's also up to people to have an opinion about MC didn't forgive her and even just call what she did small. The issue is it is not up to the reader to forgive her. When she was apologising and grovelling to him, she was in a weaker position so it could be argued (by the MC) that she was saying that stuff to make him pity her and thus help her. Thus everything she did at this point in time can be viewed as self-preservation by the MC (which I'd argue was 10-20% of her motivation). Up until the suicide attempt, he was the one in control in the two's (which could be seen with how the titles reflected his thoughts) thus up until then it was beneficial for her to act small and weak so that the MC would protect her (something she probably didn't think to do but the MC could use as justification to not trust her).
Now she's in an equal to superior position to him, he's softening up because he realises that she wasn't JUST trying to protect herself. He is slowly gaining the ability to trust her actions because she is putting herself in danger just to help him. The actions only now count in the MC's mind because she has nothing to gain.
Fair enough. However, when he's calling her act "small" he's trying to diminish her actions to himself in order to prevent himself from trusting/liking her. He hates her after what she did to him but, more importantly to this chapter, he absolutely hates that he is starting to like her after she got beaten up for him. Thus he is minimising her actions as a means of protecting his emotions. While it's true, it's also up to people to have an opinion about MC didn't forgive her and even just call what she did small.
