Holy shit this story is dog shit, no wonder it got axed early. Got me exited for nothing with the premise. Why does light novel author struggle doing something a general novel author does on a Tuesday?

This feels like it's closing to an end in one or two chapters, which I really hope to be the case because this story isn't good enough to keep up for any longer than that.

I like that he has low self esteem because of his past relationship and is taking the wrong steps towards improving himself by focusing on the exterior instead of the interior and getting called out for it. What I don't like is how we got here.

I've said it before in the chapters that got erased and I'll say it again, but this manga feels rushed and too slow paced at the same time. The guy justifiably cuts ties with all three girls that caused him pain, but all it takes is them shaking a little bit in front of him for them to be on friendly terms again, including the ex-girlfriend that hurt him the most. Now we're going from being on talking terms again to him being in love and completely fumbling a make over to impress her.

This manga is all about moving from point A to point B to point C to point D, all without making any stops along the way to appreciate the road and get to know the small towns nearby, the characters might as well just have taken the night bus and slept through the journey to reach this point.
