A fake it till you make it story from both the soon to be husband and wife. As both literally are going to god off books, rumors and second hand information from those close to them. All the while everyone around them will look at them in a lukewarm way ( I thinks that's the Japanese way or term to refer to how people will look at them).
Glad to see the concept of a villain husband or wife trope keeps being branched out even more. Especially after reading a certain other Manga(an incompetent women wants to be villainess)were its just the fiance that's faking being a villainess
