The in-universe explanation is that she's convinced she's speaking to an ancient deity pretending to be a child.

That aside, for the typesetter, you should probably think more about how you're breaking lines between multiple bubbles. It's natural for the reader to imagine a pause between them, so it's better to end one on a comma and continue the next one after it. Last chapter you even put an end quotation mark in the second bubble.

I agree with @Parnifia , you should consider character actions from their PoV rather then from ours. That also holds true when dealing with other cultures here on Earth.

Hells, the US alone has multiple cultures that barely understand each other. So why would you express anything other then sympathy for this poor woman who describes herself as a sandbag and is fully expecting the child she has been hired to teach, to start torturing her.
