I wasn't sold on that first chapter, but the second already turns things around, it feels like it might be just interesting enough.
I mean my main problem with these sort of stories is how the girl doesn't feel like a real person but more of an object of adoration that sits far away from the MC which is unbelievable and de-humanizing.
If you think about it, even if you took someone like a very famous actress BUT were placed in a context where you could reasonably interact with her, like her or not you would most likely still find a real person there.
