Not that I don't understand his desire for physical power he can call his own, but to claim his ability to organize and support others isn't comparable to physical power is just ignorant and self-deprecating.

I truely hate the lengths authors go to give their characters real power only to squander it away by repeatedly hitting them with the stupid stick. It turns what could have been a truely interesting character into poor dumb smuck 629 who only succeeds because the author gets to write the story.
