The comedy in this manga is just bad. The mc screams for no reason every chapter.

I think the past two chapters managed to turn Aisawa into the least likeable character in the manga. Rather than giving up or making a move herself, because she's a coward, she decides to undermine their relationship for the lowest, most selfish and childish of reasons. Then she immediately changes her mind and does a complete 180 after the damage has already been done, and decides to try to "help" by preaching bullshit to Asahi on a topic she has absolutely zero experience or qualifications in, instead of like, y'know, just fucking off and giving them some space, which would've been infinitely more helpful. And because she doesn't do that, she manages to ruin things a second time.

The point of the last chapters showing Aizawa's crazy side are supposed to show how love has changed her. These actions that she takes are her only way to make a dent in a ship that has already been set to sail since long ago, but she cannot bear to see it and just wave at it, so she tries to mess it up somehow. Loving while being unloved hurts, for Aizawa this was simply her last resort as nothing else would have done anything.

The reason why Aizawa then tries to help Kuromine afterwards is because she saw that she was hurting her friends and that she was being blinded by love. And it's not like she didn't know that her actions weren't going to hurt them, but her hitting Youko on accident was a physical reminder of what she was doing.

"Rather than giving up or making a move herself,"
Aizawa knows that any move she made on Kuromine wouldn't work, but she also doesn't want to give up. The conundrum there is that there's little she can do except for sabotage the existing relationship between Youko and Kuromine. And of course her heart wins over her brain and she becomes blinded by her love.

You also claim that her staying there and trying to set things right with Kuromine and Youko hurt them more than her leaving would of. This is wrong. Since her previous actions changed the atmosphere into one that didn't feel "right" for Kuromine, I personally don't believe he would've been able to change it back like he did without Aizawa's advice (which was to remember about what got him pumped up the first time).

In the end, what ruined it this time was 50% Aizawa, but it was also 50% Youko not being ready to face her feelings about Kuromine. Youko rejecting how she feels about Kuromine has already been shown massively throughout the series. Even if in her head she wishes he'd make her his, she thinks that something like that would never happen. This then shocks her when she knows that he is confessing to her.

Love is blinding. Most would do anything for love. I myself do not blame Aizawa too much, because if I was in a similar situation where I knew that someone I loved did not love me back and had to watch them get together with someone else it would hurt.

"I'd rather be in some dark holler, where the sun don't ever shine. For you to be some other man's darling, when you ain't no longer mine."

I don't really disagree with your analysis (although the part about whether her leaving would be more helpful or not I can't really comment on since it was so long ago since I read this), but there being an explanation for her actions doesn't make her any less annoying and unlikeable for me. Love certainly can be blinding, and some people do a lot of stupid shit because of it, and I don't think that's an ethically valid justification, and I think they should stop.

For me it depends on if this is a one or two chapter setback to the resolution, or if it's back to status quo after this for another god knows how many chapters.

Depending on that, it's either a little annoying or very frustrating. Since this is an older manga, my money is on very frustrating.
