Wow, the second chapter is even better than the first. And, as some have said, rather depressing in its matter-of-fact depiction of an ordinary modern woman trying to survive in a world specifically designed to satisfy male power (and sex) fantasies. By which I mean not the Europe of the middle ages, but rather the standard pseudo-European isekai fantasy land. A world dominated by skilled adventurers and the rich, who are of course mostly male, in which female mob NPCs have little value outside their sex appeal and willingness to serve.
This thing gets so many details right, from the coldly transactional -- but superficially "flirty" -- conversation between a sex worker and her naive potential client, to the clear distinction made between the protagonist's involuntary physical responses when being brutally abused by a customer (moaning, tightening) and what she's actually feeling inside (pain, misery and abject terror). Author pulls no punches. Fucking bravo.
