so the reason she failed to defeat the demon lord is actually just because her level is too low? should've taken the Himmel's Way and do more side quests

This series is really hitting its stride. I thought last chapter was my favorite so far, and this chapter was even better.
I initially worried the manga would rely on the Hero and Dark Lord gimmick, and since the characters are trying to grow out of these roles, eventually the series would lose its foundation. These worries have mostly disappeared by now; it seems the manga won't make the characters grow out of these roles at all, instead keeping them doing their things. I hope that we'll get a normal chapter every once in a while though, to show that the two are indeed progressing on their quest to become normal people.
Anyways: *Ways to Compliment People so They Level Up was stupidly funny to me for some reason. The puns were also localized rather well. And that panel of the Hero Sword being drawn with extra lighting details was fantastic.
