BTW the volume 3 cover is really appropriate for the two of them and I love the dual meaning behind the "I'm glad I drew manga," line.

In one hand, The mother concern is legit, it is pure and all party is willingly, but the interest in question is ero manga, plus working with adult ? yeah, that sound dangerous.

Not to mention that her friend's business is not at all the mom's business. The mom kind of comes off like a child then an actual adult. Like, of course it's inappropriate to be doing that but it's not your fucking business. What a bitch mother. Never, ever, ever hit your child. As someone who had strict parents who would deliver very harsh punishments growing up, I can tell you from first hand experience that all it does is build disdain in the child. There is a high chance the child will become depressed in their life because they'll interpret that sort of punishment as hate coming from the two people who should love them unconditionally, and they'll start feeling like they're worthless. It can take a long time for the child to get over it, or they may just have a strong enough character to get over it or never get to that point. But even if they get over it, there will be scars. So just don't do it.
