i cant be the only one that thinks this arc and fight is hella boring, idk why, i just cant seem to enjoy it

the writing has definitely sucked in general since Shibuya. the art is kinda wonky too, everyone looks like a frog (but like the same frog, they all look like twins with wigs). still gonna read it to the end but yeah. it reminds me of GOT where all my favorite characters are dead or coma’d so there isn’t much to look forward to.

as for why this arc sucks, can’t speak for you obv but for me it’s because Sukuna hasn’t turned out to be as foreboding a villain as he seemed in Yuuji’s body (i think Kenjaku overshadows him in that department). and as for Gojo, there was so much lead up to him being released so he could react to the Shibuya carnage, but the mangaka skipped all that straight to this fight. there needs to be a bit more emotional weight in between some of these fights. i think this arc is only enjoyable if you like theorycrafting with the battle system.
