I'd be lying if I said I've always been an ardent fan of the series, but don't forget that the JKK adaptation is one of the biggest battle shonen anime right now. MAPPA even based its business strategy on this.

I just realized that by the time final fight came to an end I have forgotten who half the people are, and I don't feel like rereading the whole thing to remind myself. Oh well, it was an experience.

That's why it felt like random chapters to me. The author seemed to skip a bunch of chapters in between.

I know, and also I'm sure they will change things because the series started to drop since the start of the culling games. There is so much bloat, exposition and ass moments from that point they have to streamline to maybe a season and a film if they want to keep it snappy.

Well, I doubt that they will just stop releasing seasons at one point like they did with Kaguya. Because they've clearly turned the show into their passion project.

I don't know how they'll handle it, but if the adaptation doesn't get the Bleach treatment from the days of Kubo trolling my fandom, it's definitely going to be hotly debated.
