god, so Yuji really did stop aging after JJK ended, what a cruel curse to bear being unable to follow through on his grandfather's words after everything he went through. I wonder if he's tripled down on being like, an eternal cog in the machine now, or if he's simply trying to Get Away from all of it after everything (I guess the latter if even Mahito doesn't know where he is?)
was nice hearing from Kugasaki tho, I hope someone gets to pass her words along to him if she doesn't get the chance herself
love that last page too, had Yuka looking just like her grandpa Yuta with that dire expression. The similarity makes me hope that she's also looking for a fakeout the way Yuta was post-Shibuya, and that after all her talk with Cross about breaking the cycle she has a plan that goes past just actually fighting Dabura to the death with help from Rika

back in chapter 7 while Tsurugi was sleeping at the hospital, he sees Mahito in his nightmare as he mistakes Tsurugi (or maybe he was mistaking Maru?) for Yuji before realizing he's talking to someone different
curses can come back as long as there's enough fear/animosity around the thing they're tied to so as long as humans have fear and hate in their heart it's safe to assume Mahito will pop up eventually, just a question of if/when he'll get active in this story

Called this shit, unfortunately. The plot is being twisted into knots just to jam some duels into it. The whole situation gets resolved in like two days by just not being braindead.
