It's not really described but i guess like many real influencers who had controversies. Time let People forget "drama" (in a bigger sense: time let new subscriber and many people were not really involved emotionally with x controversy). Logan is a good example with multiple controversy and even a scam and he's still popular

If you can become president of a country despite being a convicted felon and a rapist, it's not hard to imagine small time bastard influencers/youtubers getting away with harmful acts. It's a giant 8K TV screen that shows moral bankruptcy of society.
