There just isn't enough to hazard a good guess yet. The first three chapters mostly establish what sort of a rough time the protagonist is having. All we can hazard at this point is that something is likely to change.

I'm expecting a sort of weird family drama if the writing continues along its current trajectory, but right now would be exactly the moment for the story to go off sideways in an unexpected direction, so... ~w~

her features aren't bad at all, she's just not doing anything to help her appearance. that's why i'm pretty sure she'll have a "transformation" moment. i've yet to see a story where an "ugly" girl stays ugly till the end and grows to be confident, which is unfortunate imo
