Why is he like this? He knows that the attack would be pointless but he still did the ice magic attack wasting magic and time. Wasnt he supposed to be smart? did losing Mary really made him not able to think like he normally would? No plan b or c? I just dont think that this is consistent with what he was in chapter 1-10 but its not like i remember much what happened in those chapter.
It's more blind hope that an attack might disable or kill the golems, they feel no pain but if the leg is destroyed they still can't walk, no arms wont kill them but they wont be able to grab or punch you.
interesting that the MC missed a slip: the scientist prepared everything so he couldn’t use “grand magic” which means in spite of supposed Clairvoyance he doesn’t know he is an average. The MC noticed he thinks the same but seemingly didn’t get that this might be because he also has to bluff
