Theres a difference between not fearing death itself and not fearing being tortured to death, theres a reason why sometimes the tortured did not beg their torturers to stop but to just kill them. Better a quick death than a slow, agonizing one

Tl;dr: would prefer stronger story and characters to the torture as i just find torture rather boring and generic compared to a bullet to the head and next target.
Have to admit, not really satisfying. The series is just porn but not in a literal way. More so in that it’s apparent the story is just a tool to get to the fucking (in this context the torture). I feel nothing for any characters and consequently derive no desire to analyze the story or speculate on it in my spare time. That and these antagonists always boil down to “im evil, i murdered or raped someone”. Four of the first four were rapists. We don’t know much about the second batch of antagonists. And the guy this chapter was a rapist right or did i misread? Like nothing about these antagonists is memorable either because outside of their evil acts any threat they pose is neutralized because “muh gramps training” because obviously there’s no need for intelligence if we can just brute force or exaggerate something from real life. (Looking at you spinning to get out of a death grip chapter). I will give credit to the author for trying to expand on the characters of the first batch of psychos. I think the fuckboi was alright, i mean giving him that epiphany at the end felt hamfisted but the idea itself could’ve been interesting if it was expanded upon throughout his story arc.
