But in Page 8, Epsilon says "the smell of roasted boar". I'm pretty sure the meat is not roasted, as it is raw. Is it correct? Plus "cooked meat" said by Alpha soon after.

I understand that in this context, the smell of raw meat would mean nobody is using the sewers, so the enemy wouldn't think there are people literally doing a picnic in this secret place.

So the other translation seems to make more sense in that page.

So don’t compare Mitsugoshi, who actually understands the Kagejitsu lore, with KDT’s AI translation.

Yes, I use chatGPT and several other AI sites to translate it as I can not read Japanese, however before finishing the translation I go through the entire translation and fix it so it flows better. Trust me, if you saw what comes out the AI sites you would be mortified. That being said, I do the best I can with the translations and yes at times mistakes are made. The biggest issue with this particular manga is that the writer puts almost every line of dialogue into a riddle of sorts that makes it all the more difficult to translate. I have been a huge fan of the original manga and anime so I try to make it feel like that as best I can. If there are mistakes made please let me know and I will always go back and correct them. Well, reading theirs I did feel like it was AI, although they got one part right, which is also why I felt that this specific chapter felt better here than theirs.

I'm well versed with MTL, I have some Japanese knowledge, but I don't use AI/ChatGPT but straight out Google Translator.

I MTL novels, the translation is trashier for sure, but for the most part, it's often more correct. some people mistake "reads better" for "is more correct", but I want the more correct translation despite looking bad. Then in parts that look certainly wrong, I may copy the text, cut it in parts and translate each one to get a better idea of things

Nice how you point out my comment but say nothing about the others who did the same. Hahahaha

Okay, maybe the other group doesn't use AI, if that's the case then the issue is their understanding and comprehension of the English language. Regardless of what the issue is, I will continue to translate and publish this title in English. If people prefer to read the other groups version, then that's what they should do. But it is very humorous to me how often the other group likes to come into this forum to try to put me down. I welcome them to continue their childish behavior. It only proves their own failings.
